The Stolp is an elegant display cabinet that I had the pleasure of working on. I was responsible for the complete redesign within SolidWorks, re-engineering the welding fixtures and assembly components to accommodate a new electrical configuration.
In collaboration with LedLabel, we overhauled the electrical circuit. This allowed the LED-integrated shelves to be powered without any visible wiring or connectors. We engineered a custom 12V circuit where the current is conducted directly through the vertical uprights. Because it operates on 12V, the electrified frame is completely safe while achieving a sleek, 'wireless' aesthetic. By integrating precision contact pins within the frame and matching contact points in the shelves, the entire cabinet is seamlessly illuminated.
